OBJECTIVE

What we set out to do.

Safeguard the welfare of wild and stray animals.

CONTEXT

Why now.

Animal welfare is a significant concern in India, with large stray populations and frequent cruelty cases. This project provides a compassionate and legal framework for animal protection, focusing on systematic rescue, rehabilitation, and advocacy.

KEY ACTIVITIES

What we actually do.

  1. Collaboration with established animal welfare groups like Friends of Snakes and Blue Cross.
  2. Implementing humane vaccination, sterilization, and relocation programs for strays.
  3. Filing Public Interest Litigations (PILs) to combat illegal activities like cow slaughter.
IMPACT

The result.

Hundreds of animals have been rescued and rehabilitated, while legal victories have significantly strengthened the animal welfare landscape in India.

"The puppy was hit by a car on the highway. Six months later she's lying on my office sofa pretending she owns the place. She kind of does."
